Father's Day is a day to honor Dad and all the other men – grandfathers, uncles, stepfathers, older brothers – who have played a role special in your life. You are the Great Catch Father's Day Card
Give each child a 9-inch paper plate. Cut two small triangles from one side of paper plate to the tail section of the fish. Glue in a shell for the eye. In the center of the paper plate write, "to father (or grandfather, etc.) You are a great party! "Apply a thin layer of glue all around the edges of the fish and the tail. Sprinkle a little sand on the glue even while still wet. Shake off excess sand. Let each child a piece of string tied about 14 inches long (fishing line) to 1-foot long stick (fishing pole) and attach a paper clip at the other end of the thread. Make a hole in the fish's mouth and the hook would be the clip through it.

Let children decorate the construction paper, with stickers, paint, markers, crayons, glitter, etc. Glue the paper decorated coffee can and then cover the paper with clear contact paper. Then make a snack for Father's Day to put in the cans. Mix fish crackers, pretzels, raisins, Cheerios, and popcorn together. Fill the can with the snack.
Coupon Book
Here is a great gift and simple you can do for Dad will really love – a coupon book filled with special favors you promise to do for him. Dad can cash in a coupon any time you're ready for a break or a hand. To make the booklet, fold sheets 8 ½ inches by 11 inches of colored paper into 3 equal parts. Cut along the folds, creating the coupons. Draw a line the length of a coupon each coupon and write the favors of the lines (for example, a hug, a dad wants what, you take out the trash, etc.). Use your creativity to decorate each coupon, adding stickers, glitter, etc. coupons staples together to make a small booklet.
My Dad Rocks! Paperweight
